So last night we all jumped in the car and went to Target for a few miscellaneous items before Chris's fishing trip today. While we were there I told Chris we needed to get Katherine some new shoes as her old ones were a) dirty and b) starting to get too tight around her ankles. So, off we went to the baby aisle to look for new shoes. Well after about 10 minutes of searching for 12 or 18 month shoes we realize that 1) the 12 month shoes were no bigger than her current ones and 2) they don't have any bigger than 12 months in the baby section! WHAT!? I am totally at a loss and wonder where in the world they would keep shoes for toddlers. Off to the shoe section we go...there they are! Except now instead of buying shoes in "month" sizes, we now have a real shoe size! So last night we purchased her first two pair (one brown and one pink) of "big girl shoes" in size 3. Just proves how quickly she went from infant to full blown toddler! Next thing you know she'll be driving...aagghh!!! She also seems to be cutting some more teeth as she has been a drool monster all week long.
I will post a picture later on of her new shoes...and hopefully of some fish if Chris caught anything! :)
Until next time!
