Anyway, Katherine is definitely growing up into a beautiful, smart, funny, loving, caring, compassionate, active, energetic, stubborn and strong-willed girl. She definitely has her own opinions about...EVERYTHING and she is not afraid to share it with you. I'm hoping we can channel this into good things instead of just sassing and back talking Mom and Dad. ;) We know that God has such wonderful plans for her life as she has so many gifts! She is incredibly caring of others and always looks out for everyone. She is the first to ask for a second lollipop at the bank or second cookie at the grocery store, but not for herself, it's for her little sister. People are always amazed that she truly wants to give it to her sister. :) She is also not afraid to talk to anyone. If you are bagging our groceries at Publix or happen to be checking us out at Target you will likely hear Katherine's entire life story in non-stop, barely breathing, 100mph words. Sometimes I look at her and say "Katherine BREATHE, remember to breathe!" :) She definitely keeps her daddy and I on our toes and we are always amazed at the things she comes up with! She is doing exceptionally well in school this year and can memorize things with hardly any effort at all! The things she has learned this year I am not sure I EVER learned. She's amazing!
Some of her favorites this year:
Food: Minestrone soup (STILL!)
Color: Blue (pink is SO last year)
Outfit: The prettiest and most poofy princess dress she can find
Cartoon/Movie: Transformers, GI Joe, Rescue Bots and MacGuyver
Birthday cake request: Transformers cake decorations, chocolate cake with BLUE icing
Favorite toys: Barbies, so she can dress them up in "fashion" She is SO into fashion.
Favorite past times: Scootering, biking and swimming (she's a daredevil extraordinaire on the scooter and bike...)
Favorite person: Definitely her little brother Andrew (she is constantly walking around saying "He's just so cute I can't stop staring at him!")
What she idolizes: Daddy. Daddy is the supreme and she wants to do anything and everything just like or with Daddy. :) I don't blame her one bit!
Favorite subject in school: Math...hands down.
Favorite breakfast food: Blueberry pancakes...made by daddy of course!
Favorite snack: Homemade strawberry fruit roll ups.
